Keith Morrison sits down with Josh Mankiewicz to discuss his latest episode, “Heartless.” When 53-year-old Talina Galloway went missing from her Oklahoma home in March 2020, her friends knew something was awry. Police began looking into her disappearance, as did a group of online sleuths who called themselves “Talina’s Army.” Eventually, the investigation led police to Talina’s body and to her killer, who was all too close to home. Josh and Keith discuss the ways armchair detectives can help and hurt investigations, as well as the sci-fi subculture that formed a major part of Talina’s life.
