About this episode

The Voice Knew Where To Start In this episode, we delve into a disturbing account of grief, possession, and a voice that may have lived inside the narrator since childhood - not to comfort them, but to use them as a vessel. Case: The Voice Beneath The Skin Location: Unknown Status: Unresolved Event: Voice manipulation and attempted emergence Entity: The voice Phrase: Peterson’s kiln Consequence: First love’s death At five years old, the narrator heard a voice promise they could touch their mother’s face again. The voice later guided the narrator into a river, nearly killing them. Over the years, the voice became more specific, cruel, and controlling. It manipulated the narrator into saying words that led to their first love’s death. In the final weeks, the voice spoke in unknown languages and repeated “Peterson’s kiln.” The narrator believed the voice was not trying to destroy them, but to be born. Tired of ads?
