About this episode
The fourth and final episode of Spooky Season covers a shocking crime from February 16, 1981, when 19-year-old Arne Johnson stabbed his landlord and friend Alan Bono to death at a dog kennel in Brookfield, Connecticut...the town's first homicide in nearly two centuries. When the case went to trial, Johnson's attorney made legal history by arguing his client was not guilty by reason of demonic possession, a defense no American court had ever considered. Behind the headline was a family divided: an 11-year-old boy whose frightening episodes drew the famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and whose brothers still disagree about what really happened.
