About this episode

Six drunk friends prank the town's oldest urban legend on Halloween night, and steal the pie cooling on her windowsill. By morning they can't stop eating. Out at the end of Sumac Hollow Road in southern Indiana, where the national forest begins, lives Nana Sweetbread. Her chimney smokes every night of the year. The old-timers say if you drive out at noon you'll find nothing but four broken stone walls, but at midnight there's a light on in the kitchen. When Colby and his friends egg her cottage and run off with her pie, they find out the stories were true. Now a cheerful 1950s TV cooking show host with a painted-on smile and a necklace of human teeth has invited them back for supper, and every one of them is on the menu. Nana Sweetbread is an original extreme horror story full of dark humor, cursed food, cannibalism, body horror and splatter gore, in the tradition of Halloween slasher films. If you like scary Halloween stories, witch horror, urban legends, creepypasta, folk horror and cosmic hunger, this one's for you. Content warning: graphic violence, gore, cannibalism, strong language and adult humor. Listener discretion is advised.
