About this episode

A rancher calls the sheriff's office at dawn. One of his heifers is lying torn open in the south pasture with her throat gone. There isn't a drop of blood in her or under her, and there isn't a single track anywhere around her. Deputy Luther Tolan has worked eleven years in Grier County, Nebraska, and he's seen just about everything a small farm town can throw at a cop. He's never seen anything like this. The killings come back every month, and every month they last one night longer. Livestock come first. Then the dogs start hiding. Then it moves on to people. Lute starts circling the full moons on a feed store calendar. What he finds out about his town is far worse than a monster, because it's somebody he knows. What the Moon Lets Out is an original long-form horror story about a werewolf, cattle mutilations, small-town secrets, and a creature that doesn't die when you kill it. It's full-cast audio horror fiction for fans of rural horror, creature features, cosmic dread, and slow-burn scary stories told in the dark. Stay through the end, and make sure all the buttholes are accounted for. New original horror stories every episode. Subscribe so you don't miss the next one.
