About this episode
His father donated his body to science. Science didn't give him back. First-year medical student Nolan Pryce spends his nights in the gross anatomy lab at a Virginia medical school, dissecting a cadaver his lab partner named Kevin. Then the paperwork on Kevin's tank turns out to be a lie, the kindly professor who runs the body donor program starts humming the hymn Nolan's late father used to sing, and a stranger's hip replacement turns up in his father's ashes. Following the trail leads Nolan and his best friend to an abandoned tuberculosis sanatorium in the Virginia woods, where the dead are not resting, and someone has been stitching them together. Anatomical Gift is an original horror story about grief, grave robbing, reanimation, and what really happens after you sign the donor card. It's full of dark humor, Southern gothic dread, and graphic body horror in the tradition of Frankenstein and Re-Animator.
